First haircut

I finally accepted the fact that maybe Ty needed a haircut

It was getting to the point where I just told people right away that he is a boy

Well. it wasn't as bad as I thought, Ty's new look is adorable and he still has some wave to his hair (yay!!)  Isaac likes Ty's hair too.

Early Easter with grandma!

Grandma Candrian flew into town and spent a couple of nights with us.  We love it when grandmas do that!!!  We had the best weekend ever...having a little Easter egg hunt, going to Peter and Isaac's baseball games and listening to conference.  It was wonderful!!   So grateful for a wonderful family and a prophet here on this earth who is the mouth piece for our Heavenly Father.  The gospel is JOY and I am grateful to have it.

SPRING TRAINING FOR THE ANGELS

Today we went to Tempe to eat lunch with Drew and visit the Angels practice field...yes spring training is starting and we had to check it out!  Can you believe this place is about 5 minutes from Drew's work...is that a co-incident???  We did have a lot of fun...watching the team bat and getting autographs from some of the players.  Peter was pretty proud of the Mike Socha signature he got - that is the head coach for the Angles.  Ty and I even enjoyed our time out at the ball park...don't ask me why Ty is missing his pants in the picture.  This is just another reason why I do love Arizona - Spring Training!!!

We do love the desert

It is not the rockies...but we have found beauty in the Arizona scenery.  We enjoy hunting for scorpions and listening for rattlesnakes (ok I am lying a bit)

diamondback fan fest

Having a mlb team close to our new home is pretty much Drew's dream come true

Living and Loving Arizona

We are here in Arizona...we survived the move and have gotten settled. Drew's new job at US Airways is what got us here. The boys have adjusted pleasantly and have embraced this new experience. We have met some new friends who have welcomed us and showed us all the fun, beauty and enjoyment here in this awesome place. As you can tell I have taken quite a liking to this place, it must be the beautiful weather. I am afraid of what the summer heat is going to bring, but we are going to make it work for us and enjoy every last sunburn or heat stroke that we might encounter (I sure hope it isn't that extreme)!!

Family photos

everyone loves getting the family photos taken right. I mean all of the stress picking out the right clothing...you want to blend but don't want to look cheesey. Getting your 8 year old to smile naturally and not to think about his smile. Keeping your 2 year old occupied and telling him as soon as we are done we are going straight to Mcdonalds.

Yep, these are our family photos and every little thing I stressed about was well worth it. I LOVE THEM!!! My boys look great and Carson likes to show me his soft smile all the time now. Amy Harrison did an awesome job.

Way To Go Broncos

It was Superbowl Tuesday in Springville yesterday when the Broncos played the undefeated Titans in the flag football championship game. Yes Peter got to play in the championship game his very first season of flag football. Unfortunately they didn't pull of the big "W" but it was an exciting game and a great year. Peter did a wonderful job and won blocker of the year in our books.
Sorry about the blurry photos. I think Santa needs to bring me a new camera for Christmas!!

Carson's soccer season

We had a lot of fun watching Carson play soccer. This was his second year playing soccer and he improved a ton since last season. He even scored some goals this year. He was on a team full of friends and neighbors and they named their team the Black Moles. Way to go Carson!!

No, I didn't fall off the face of the earth...

don't faint, I am actually publishing a post - hey look, I actually did a few of them. I have been crazy busy and blogging was not on the top of my list for a while, but things have changed I may blog everyday (don't hold your breath). I will have to say that I enjoy looking at all of my family and friends blogs so I decided to update mine for your enjoyment (cause I am sure you all haven't been able to cope with out it).

For UEA we went to Salt Lake and spent some time at Wheeler Farm and the Tracy Aviary. I love this time of year, especially when the weather is nice and you can spend it outside. We are so happy that we got to spend the day with Nana and Papa Gentry.

Tracy Aviary

how many of you have forgotten about this place? Peter, Carson and Isaac enjoy seeing all the birds and then playing at Liberty Park afterwards. This time around we got to go with Nana and Papa!

Surprise!! We're going to Disneyland

the boys had no idea that a trip for a few days in St. George was really going to be a trip to Disneyland. Peter guessed that we were going after I told him that the Mickey Mouse waffles that we were eating was a hint for our surprise.

Huntington Beach

we couldn't go all the way to California with out taking a day to go to the beach. We bought a boogie board and Peter did a pretty good job riding the waves. Carson loves to just run in the waves and Isaac just really enjoyed watching from a distance and playing smashball with mom (which he is also a natural at).
